👉 How to play Squaredle game
Squaredle wordle game accepts 4-letter and longer words. Every puzzle has a word at least 8 letters long; some have even had a 16-letter word! If you like word searches or jumble games, Squarele is a fun new challenge. Sometimes it can be hard to spot words at first, but if you get stuck, you can rotate the entire grid to help you see new letter combinations.
Little touches like that make Squaredle one of the most feature-rich Wordle-inspired daily word puzzles we’ve found so far. Another example: After you find a few words, you’ll notice some letters begin to gray out. This means they’re not used in any more words in the puzzle, so you can focus your search on the remaining letters.
Partway through your solve, numbers show up on the letter squares. These numbers reflect how many words use the squares, and later on, how many words start with the squares. Then, Squaredle word game becomes a logic game where you narrow down the possibilities based on which letters might be used in the same words.
Each day, Squaredle releases hints in the form of a word list. The word list reveals the first letter of each word and sorts the words alphabetically, which is a clever way of hinting at what a word might be without making the game too easy.
The word list also links to each word’s definition, so it’s a great game for vocabulary building. Some more obscure words are treated as bonus words — you don’t have to find those. But one optional word each day gets special treatment: the Bonus Word of the Day. Finding this word is always a dopamine rush and gives you some interesting facts about a relatively uncommon word.
When you play Squaredle, you’re competing against thousands of players. The globe icon in your score bar shows the global average score. Score more points for finding longer words. Once you’ve found all the words, you can hunt for more bonus words or compare yourself to other players based on accuracy and speed!
Of course, you can also see your own stats at any time. Squaredle tracks play streaks, solve streaks (getting 100% of the words), how many puzzles you played and solved, and your average score. You also get a visual graph of your scores for the past week.
